Construct a cost-benefit analysis for the project, which compares the costs of the project with the potential benefits to the business if it is successful. The comparison should be as specific as possible. For example, use monetary measures in a commercial situation. |

Purpose
This step answers the question, What is your bottom line? As part of the final assessment, it is critical to compare the costs of the project with the potential benefits of success. Include in your analysis estimated costs for:
- Data collection and any external data used
- Results deployment
- Operating costs
- Then, take into account the benefits of:
- The primary objective being met
- Additional insights generated from data exploration
- Possible benefits from better data understanding
