Provide a single, centralized Change Management process for the efficient and effective handling of Changes

Purpose

· Provide a single, centralized Change Management process for the efficient and effective handling of Changes.

· Manage Changes throughout their entire lifecycle from initiation and recording, through filtering, assessment, categorization, authorization, scheduling, building, testing, implementation and eventually their review and closure.

Steps

Manage Enhancement Requests

Assess business need, urgency and impact

Perform impact analysis / risk analysis

Scope & Plan Enhancement Process

Change approval board approves or rejects change

Plan the deployment of the change and appoint a change owner

Implement/Integrate/Test/Document

Communicate/Train Users as required

Release and deploy the change (via Release Management)

Post-implementation review of change
