Purpose

·                     Ensure the continuity of service from the solution to its users.

·                   Monitor, measure, report and review a key set of metrics for each service and component, which includes availability, reliability, maintainability, serviceability and security.



·                     Disaster recovery processes are planned, implemented and tested to ensure there is always a way to recover from catastrophic incidents.

·                   Continuity Management assists the business in minimizing disruption to essential business processes during and following a major incident or outage. 

·                   Business Impact Analysis and Risk Management exercises should be undertaken on a regular basis together with the maintenance and testing of all recovery plans.
