If the project is IBM led and IBM ASUM is to be used, review the selling process deliverables with the IBM Sales Team and understand customer drivers, expectations, motivations to buy, Influence Map, Discovery Map, and Solution Map.
If the project is IBM led, review the Sales Proposal and the Contract for license and for services.
If ASUM is not to be used, discuss all pre-project related material with the appropriate parties.
In all cases understand any pre-project work that has been completed - proof of concept builds and pilot builds - and understand issues that may have been identified during this work.
In all cases understand what software the customer has bought or owns, including the number of licenses sold.
In all cases understand the support option selected.
In all cases review the hardware and technical recommendations.
