Steps

Create milestone plan

Man days - create a spreadsheet with tasks as rows and resource types as columns, and then estimate the man-days required per task and resource type. Add up all the man-days required for all tasks per resource type
Milestone Plan - Use the detailed project plan (mpp) template as a guide and determine the activities/tasks that are considered milestones for the project
